Sanusi suspension ruling set for 20 May

The ruling on an application by suspended Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is set to be delivered on 20 May.
Sanusi has been suspended since 19 February.
ThisDay reports that Sanusi filed an application to contest his suspension and be reinstated in his role as governor of the CBN.
According to the report, Sanusi has argued that the executive arm of the government does not have the power to suspend the CBN governor.
Nigerian Tribute reports that President Goodluck Jonathan were amongst the people who asked for the application to be dismissed.
