Atletico Madrid booked their place in the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Barcelona 1-0 at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday night.
Barca controlled the early stages but on Atletico's first attack they took the lead as after Adrian had smashed the ball against the post, the home side continued to push and from David Villa's cross, Adrian nodded the ball down to Koke who was free to fire home at the back post.

Atleti were at it again moments later and this time it was Villa who broke through, firing against the upright and it was clear he was desperate to score against his old team, as shortly after he again found the woodwork, the third time his side had found the frame of the visitors' goal in the opening 20 minutes.
Slowly but surely the Blaugrana emerged from their shell and themselves had two golden chances through Lionel Messi, first a free header which glanced just wide, before firing a shot off target after good work by Neymar.
Gerardo Martino's men came out a different side after the break, with a couple of goalmouth scrambles but it was again Atleti who were creating the chances with Diego forcing a good save from Jose Manuel Pinto on the hour mark before Gabi wasted a golden chance when one-on-one.
Then with just over ten minutes to go, Barca fashioned their best opportunity as following a good spell of possession, Dani Alves curled the ball into Neymar who threw himself towards it with a diving header but his effort was again off target.
After that Atletico played expertly, pressing the Catalans into mistakes and in the end it proved good enough as they won 1-0 on the night, 2-1 on aggregate.
